Mission accomplished

 We have the elusive Northern Lights.  We were woken up at about 10pm by an announcement over the intercom that northern lights were visible.  Rushed to throw a tracksuit on and hurry to the top deck and sure enough, we got a surreal viewing of a wave of green lights through the sky.  We'd been up there for about 15 minutes and were just about frozen to ice blocks so Pam went back to the cabin for our snow gear and stayed another 15 minutes till they faded to nothing.  A beautiful clear night, stars everywhere and the lights have fulfilled our mission!!!
